SINS FORGOTTEN

That is to say that God chooses to remember our sin against us any longer. There is a big difference in forgetfulness and choosing not to remember.  He has removed our sins as far from us as the east is from the west. Psalm 103:12

GOD'S MERCY

We, as believers in Christ, live under God's umbrella of grace.  Christ is the manifestation of God's incredible and eternal mercy toward us.  It is reserved for those who seriously accept God's forgiveness for their sins.  Service is to follow.  God's mercy toward us is designed to compel us to align ourselves with his word and his standards for living.  It's not something you snatch and put in your pocket like one would snatch a gold ring while riding a carousal.  It's been given to us, it's there for the taking.  We wear it like a garment.  God's mercy.  Are you sharing it with all you meet?

CHOICES

Throughout our lives we make choices.  With each choice come consequences that are tied to each decision.  There’s one choice that many people don’t like to think about.  It’s the question of eternity in relation to God.  Whether we like it or not we will need to make a choice regarding whether we will place our faith in an unseen God or not.  It’s not enough to simply believe in Him, for frankly, He didn’t give us that option.
Man has the tendency to compare themselves to others around them, especially when it comes to eternal issues.  Surely they must be bound for heaven for they are a good person; certainly better than Joe or Bill or Jane.  In Paul’s letter to the Romans he says we have all sinned and fallen short of God’s glory (Romans 3:23).  That’s who we are to compare ourselves to, our Creator, not another created being.
God offers forgiveness for all our sins.  What He asks in return is for us to enter into a personal relationship with Him that will last for all eternity.  Without His forgiveness we will perish.  Christ is the bridge which reestablishes the relationship with God that was broken in the Garden with Adam & Eve.

Where do you stand with God?

Re: Psalm 150

"In a way, the book of Psalms parallels our spiritual journey thru life. It begins by presenting us with two roads: the way to life and the way to death. If we choose God's way to life, we still face both blessings and troubles, joy and grief, successes and obstacles. Thru it all, God is at our side, guiding, encouraging, comforting and caring.  As the wise and faithful person's life draws to an end, it becomes clear that God's road is the right road. Knowing this will cause us to praise God for leading us in the right direction and for assuring us of a place in the perfect world he has in store for those who have faithfully followed him."
