Thoughts from a Random Mind

Do you realize that nearly every problem you have in life is your own fault? A poor decision you made at one time which had lasting consequences. Misjudging a person or situation that landed you in hot water. Who else’s fault could it possibly be? Are you not in control of your own mind? Then it was YOUR fault that you are in the mess you find yourself in. Don’t despair. Accept that reality, mentally flush it, and move on. Easier said than done, you may say? God can make that happen if you rely on Him implicitly. Moving on with God as the captain of your ship would be a wise choice if you haven’t already turned the wheel over to Him.

Everyone has problems. Everyone makes mistakes. Everyone has the opportunity to erase every mistake they’ve ever made; they are called sins or transgressions or iniquities. Whatever you call them, they reveal the fact that you are not perfect; never will be.

There’s seems to be a misnomer that followers of Christ think they’re better than unsaved folks. While that may be true of some, I’d like to believe that the bulk of them would never think that. I’m here to tell you that even Christians have problems. And Christians act improperly toward others, though not as a general rule. We’re human, just like those outside God’s family. If you insult us our feelings get hurt. If you cut us we bleed, just like anybody else. The difference is that we realize where our problems came from and have chosen to do something about it.

You don’t have to stay mired in the fallout of a lifetime of bad decisions. Call on God for help and He WILL help you, not the way YOU think you should be helped, but the way He knows will benefit you the most. Until next time, walk with the King & be a blessing.

In His Name & for His Glory,
